اخبار استراليا- من المنتظر أن يشهد غداً إضراباً للمعلمين يستمر لنصف يوم، مما سيؤدي إلى تأثر العملية التعليمية في أكثر من 80 مدرسة عبر أستراليا الغربية.
ووفقاً لبيان صادر عن وزارة التعليم بالولاية، من المقرر أن تبدأ إجراءات الإضراب مع انطلاق اليوم الدراسي.
ويُتوقع أن يستأنف المعلمون مهامهم التعليمية في الساعة 12:30 ظهراً بتوقيت غرب أستراليا (AWST)، باستثناء المعلمين في مناطق بيلبارا وكيمبرلي، حيث سيعودون إلى الفصول الدراسية في الساعة 11:30 صباحاً. وقد أشارت الوزارة عبر موقعها الإلكتروني إلى أنه “قد يصعب توفير الرعاية الكافية للطلاب خلال فترة الإضراب”.
يأتي هذا الإضراب كوسيلة ضغط من قِبل المعلمين للمطالبة بزيادة الأجور بنسبة 12% خلال العامين القادمين، في حين قدمت الحكومة عرضاً بزيادة تصل إلى 11% على مدى ثلاث سنوات.
